Sri Lanka is about to explore space with the launch of
the communication satellite within the next few days !!!
The US$ 320
Mn. Lankan satellite project is a joint venture between SupremeSat (Pvt) Ltd. & China’s state owned
China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC)
It was earlier scheduled to launch today (22/11/2012)
from Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in China but delayed for a couple of days
due to adverse weather conditions.
